A Timeless Glam Photo Booth Experience for Lanie & Taylor’s Wedding at Kendall Point
Lanie & Taylor’s Glam Photo Booth Wedding at Kendall Point
There are some wedding experiences that simply fit the room.
For Lanie and Taylor’s August 22 wedding at Kendall Point in Boerne, Texas, our Glam Photo Booth Experience was designed to do exactly that.
Their celebration was elegant, personal and full of energy, so we wanted the photo booth to complement the wedding rather than compete with it. We kept the visual approach intentionally clean: a crisp white backdrop, flattering studio-style lighting, timeless black-and-white photography and personalized prints featuring the couple’s names and wedding date.
The result was less like a traditional photo booth and more like a portrait experience guests could enjoy throughout the reception.
A Beautiful Wedding at Kendall Point in Boerne
Set in the Texas Hill Country, Kendall Point provided an impressive backdrop for Lanie and Taylor’s celebration. From the personalized wedding welcome display to the reception itself, the details created a sophisticated atmosphere while still leaving plenty of room for guests to celebrate.
One of the most memorable parts of the evening was a colorful lion dance performance featuring an incredible collection of traditional lion costumes. It created a dramatic contrast to the wedding’s otherwise soft, elegant aesthetic and brought another level of energy to the celebration.
But once guests made their way to the photo booth, the entire visual experience changed.
Color disappeared.
The background became minimal.
And the people became the focus.
The Glam Photo Booth Experience
For this wedding, we wanted the booth to produce photographs that felt appropriate for the occasion.
Instead of relying on an elaborate backdrop or oversized graphics, our Glam experience used a simple white background paired with professional lighting and black-and-white photography.
That simplicity is what makes the experience work.
Formal dresses, tuxedos, hairstyles, expressions and personalities immediately stand out against the neutral setting. The finished photographs have a clean, editorial quality that feels at home at an upscale wedding.

And while we call it a photo booth, the finished images tell a slightly different story.
This is closer to having a small portrait studio operating inside the reception.
From Couples to the Entire Crew
One of our favorite things about reviewing the gallery afterward was seeing how differently guests used the experience.
Some stepped in for polished portraits.
Others brought friends.
Then the groups started getting bigger.
Eventually, the playful props came out.
That progression is exactly what we want to see.
A good wedding photo booth shouldn't force every guest into the same pose or experience. It should give them a space where they can decide what kind of photograph they want to create.

For some guests, that meant a classic portrait worthy of a frame.
For others, it meant gathering six, seven or eight people together and seeing how many friends they could fit into the photograph.
And for a few, it meant holding oversized cutouts of the bride and groom's faces while wearing heart-shaped glasses.
We fully support all three approaches.
A Wedding Photo Booth Everyone Could Enjoy
The gallery also demonstrates something we believe is important when choosing a wedding experience: it needs to work for more than one type of guest.
Throughout the reception, the booth was used by the newlyweds, members of the wedding party, couples, friends, family members and larger groups.
That's one of the advantages of keeping the Glam experience visually simple.
There isn't a complicated concept guests have to understand. They don't need to know how to operate the equipment. They simply step in, get positioned and enjoy the experience.
Our attendant handles the rest.
And Then They Took the Photographs Home
The digital photograph is only part of this experience.
For Lanie and Taylor, we created personalized prints featuring:
LANIE & TAYLOR
08.22.26
Guests received a physical photograph during the reception, turning something fun they did during the wedding into something they could actually take home.
That matters to us.
Phones are already filled with photographs. Hundreds more may be taken during a wedding and disappear into camera rolls, group messages and social feeds.
A print is different.
You pick it up.
You take it home.
It ends up on a refrigerator, desk, bulletin board or tucked into an album.
Months or years later, that photograph can bring someone right back to the reception where it was created.
That's why physical keepsakes continue to be an important part of many of the experiences we design at Crafty Photo Booth.
Create it. Personalize it. Take it home.
When the Newlyweds Step Into Their Own Photo Booth
Of course, we couldn't let the night end without getting Lanie and Taylor in front of the camera.
Their finished black-and-white portrait became one of our favorite photographs from the entire reception.
It's simple. No elaborate set. No distracting graphics.
Just the newlyweds.
And that's precisely why it works.
These are the photographs that reinforce why we have been evolving our wedding experiences beyond the traditional idea of a photo booth.
Yes, guests should have fun.
But the photographs should be good, too.
We don't believe couples should have to choose between the two.
